My mom really wanted to try this type of quilt, called a one-block-wonder, but was afraid her chemo addled brain couldn’t handle the task. So I made this one alongside hers, so we had each other to lean on when things got confusing. This quilt requires deconstructing a large print fabric, and is most exacting process!
My mother made one of these and found the process quite simple and the results so stunning, she helped me to make this top in just a few days. it’s called stack-n-whack, or something. This process is also a deconstruction of a large print fabric, but far less complicated than the previous entry. I call my quilt Candy.
