As an artist, I like to show work in galleries, as an animator, I also like to show work in galleries. I can achieve the marriage of the two via new media installations. My most recent installation was entitled Tantramar Revisited and was a playful twist on the history of this place I call home. I installed four different video histories each onto their own interactive phone, or kiosk. A touch screen enabled viewers to engage the work, and the audio was available through the handset of the old phone. This project was made possible thanks to many, but most importantly: David and Solveig Wells, Pierre Malloy, Lianne Zannier, the Canada Council for the Arts, the New Brunswick Arts Board, everyone at Struts and Faucet, and viewers like you! Thanks, eh!
